Elan S. Nichols

ELAN A. NICHOLS practices in the areas of appellate law and commercial litigation. Ms. Nichols earned a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and is a 2000 cum laude graduate of Michigan State University Law School. In law school, Ms. Nichols was a member of the Moot Court Board and won the 2000 Jurisprudence Award in Law and Medicine. Ms. Nichols has clerked for Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Peter D. O’Connell and Michigan Supreme Court Justice Clifford W. Taylor. She was president of the Ingham County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and sits on the Ingham County Bar Association’s Board of Directors. She also serves as a trial competition and moot court judge at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Michigan State University Law School.
